I have this amazing friend named Sara, who I met during college. We knew of each other during college but never got to know each other well. It was only after we graduated and started working full time at the same photography studio that our friendship took off. I am so thankful for her friendship. We are both now pursuing our own businesses so I don’t get to see her everyday like I use to but I still know she is there anytime I may need her. It’s so great to have friends like that. Sara has one of the sweetest hearts I’ve ever seen… her whole family does. Beauty just radiates from her both inside and out.

On Sunday evening Mike, Baxter and I met up with Sara, her husband Lance and their puppy Dixi. Since Sara and Lance are photographers too and are always taking photos for other people, its hard to find time to get photos taken of them. Sara and I decided that we were going to exchange some family photos and I’m so glad we did. It’s nice to have family photos from year to year. It was nice to see Sara and Lance and catch up, and I’m pretty sure the dogs had a blast frolicking through the tall grass too :) I’m pretty excited to see some of the images that Sara took of us but in the meantime here are some of my favorite images of them.
