Mike and I weren’t sure this engagement session was going to happen… the first date we scheduled it was calling for thunderstorms but we braved the weather and then just as we arrived at the location it started raining. We rescheduled for the next weekend and decided to go for a sunrise session instead because, it’s not often you have a thunderstorm in the morning, right? Well as the next weekend grew near it was obvious that our sunrise session could very easily be rained out, so we rescheduled again moving the session up a day to try and beat the rain. As Mike and I were headed to Patrick + Brenna’s session yet again it started raining. “You have got to be kidding” I said. By the time we arrived at the park the rain had stopped and it looked like we had a break in the radar. We were finally able to get Brenna + Patrick in front of our cameras! It was a very cloudy morning but these two rocked out our early morning session.

Brenna + Patrick are the sweetest and we loved being able to spend some quality time with them two weekends in a row! We loved catching up with them about wedding plans and life. Engagement sessions allow us to get to know our couples even better, and I love that! Mike and I can’t wait for their wedding this Fall. It’s going to be beautiful and Brenna is going to be an absolutely gorgeous bride! Enjoy a few of our favorites from our cloudy sunrise session :)
