When Mike and I arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by a room full of excitement and laughter. I love that our brides are always so cool, calm and collected on their weddings days, like nothing in the world could ruin it. The control freak in me was definitely not that way the morning of our wedding and I totally regret that I just didn’t calm down and enjoy myself more.
Jess + Josh had no idea when they set the date for their wedding what the weather was going to look like that weekend. Jess + Josh got married on a Friday and I am so thankful they did. You see the day after their wedding, it rained so much that flash flooding was in effect in our area. All day I kept thanking them for not having their wedding on the Saturday of that weekend! We somehow really lucked out! The sun was mostly behind clouds most of the day but it wasn’t raining and we were all so thankful!
If I had one word to describe the day it would be fun. Jess + Josh had such a fun group of friends standing beside them and I don’t think we have ever photographed a wedding where there seemed to be more people on the dance floor at the end of the night than there was at the beginning. This group had such a great time dancing the night away… I remember saying to Mike “They’re going to feel that tomorrow!”
Jess + Josh, thanks for having us be a part of your beautiful wedding. We seriously loved every minute! We love you guys and can’t wait to see you again!!
Jess, you were such a stunning bride!
