Our last wedding of the year has come and gone. We are officially done with our 2015 season, which feels SO crazy to say! Getting to shoot weddings during the Winter months is fun because it isn’t right smack in the middle of busy season. It allows us to spread out our season so we don’t feel so busy and crazy over the summer. And honestly, Christmas weddings are SO beautiful! Ben + Alison decided early on in wedding planning that photography was one of the most important things to them and I’m so honored we could be there to capture their day. Although it was the coldest day we’ve seen this Winter, and the wind was somewhere in the 20 mph range, the love and joy from the day overpowered the cold. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Alison did a first look with her father and brother. No one was expecting her brother to break down the way he did when he saw how beautiful Alison looked. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room!
Alison + Ben, thank you so much for allowing us to walk beside you during this season of your lives. We have LOVED getting to know you two! We love you guys! Enjoy our favorites from this windy winter wedding!
