Good morning sweet blog family! I’m here to let you know that I’ll be out of the office this week. If you’ve been following along with me for some time now you may remember when I traveled to Georgia last year to attend the Pursuit 31 Conference. Well, it’s that time of year again and as you are reading this I’m either at the airport or on the plane. I left the husband and puppy at home and I’m off for 3 days of hugs, laughter, tears and a whole lot of Jesus.
It all started at Lycoming College where Ilona was the football teams ball girl through her sorority and Jimmie played tight end. Through mutual friends they ended up meeting and finally going out on a date. As we were chatting while walking around DC, Jimmie admitted to waiting 4 months before making it official to make sure Ilona wasn’t crazy! These two have the best sense of humor and I’m pretty sure are perfect for each other! I love that Mike and I are able to spend time with all of our couples before their wedding days. It’s such an exciting time in their lives and Mike and I get to document it.
This is a wedding that Mike and I have been looking forward to for some time now. Nicole and Kurt are seriously some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Sometimes I have to pinch myself that this is real life… the fact that I get to meet and hang out with people like Kurt and Nicole for a living is just crazy and amazing all at the same time. Kurt is in the midst of medical school and Nicole is an RN at CHOP. These two are gonna do big things, I just know it.
As Kerri’s dad talked at the reception, he mentioned how there wasn’t a perfect man out there for his princess but that Nate was pretty darn close. I couldn’t agree more… these two are pretty perfect together. They really compliment each other and they definitely know how to have a good time.
