Two weekends ago Mike and I were at Lauxmont Farms for Chris and Rachel’s wedding. It was such a wonderful day… a bit cold and windy… but nonetheless wonderful. The day started out with photos of the guys before the girls arrived. Once the girls arrived it was time for detail shots and getting dressed so Rachel could go see her Groom. Rachel and Chris chose to do a first look, which we LOVE doing.

I have this amazing friend named Sara, who I met during college. We knew of each other during college but never got to know each other well. It was only after we graduated and started working full time at the same photography studio that our friendship took off. I am so thankful for her friendship. We are both now pursuing our own businesses so I don’t get to see her everyday like I use to but I still know she is there anytime I may need her. It’s so great to have friends like that. Sara has one of the sweetest hearts I’ve ever seen… her whole family does. Beauty just radiates from her both inside and out.

Mike and I have had SO much fun getting to know Dan and Mandi over these past few months and we were really looking forward to their wedding day this past Saturday. I’m actually kinda sad its all over though because I don’t know when we’ll see them again :( If I had to sum up their wedding day into one word it would be PARTY, and even that’s an understatement haha. It was such a fun day.

September flew by faster then I expected it to. We didn’t have as much wedding stuff going on so I thought the month would go by a little slower… boy was I wrong. Mike and I started off the month by repainting almost our whole first floor. It took us all of labor day weekend. The weekend after that we had the chance to get away and spend some time at Sandy Cove camp grounds with Mike’s immediate family. It was nice to get away and hang out with all the nieces and nephews for a few days.
