Mike and I have been really looking forward to Ming and Luca’s wedding ever since they contacted us. Not only are they the sweetest, but they were getting married at a castle… like a real CASTLE! We love going to new places and I just couldn’t wait to explore the grounds at Fonthill.
As Mike and I arrived at the vacation home that Ming and Luca rented for the weekend, I knew it was going to be a beautiful day. Luca and Ming have such a great style and I couldn’t wait to see how everything came together. Ming and Luca opted to do a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony at the house to start off the day and it was a lot of fun to see Luca’s family, who are from Italy, so involved with this tradition. It was the perfect way to bring these two families together on such an exciting day. A Tea Ceremony is done out of respect for each family. It serves as the bride’s symbolic introduction to the groom’s family. It was so great being a part of this intimate ceremony. After the tea ceremony, Ming changed into her wedding dress and then we had the official first look. Ming was stunning and I loved Luca’s expression when he saw her for the first time in her wedding dress.
Ming and Luca had such a beautiful Fall day and other then the pizza delivery guy not being able to find the vacation home, everything went just as planned. I was so honored that Mike and I could be part of this amazing day. I can’t wait to show you some of my favorites! Enjoy!
