April of 2010, Mike and I went to Aruba on our honeymoon. Then, this past January we had the chance to go to St Kitts with my parents and we couldn’t pass it up. With me being a photographer, I always take my camera along and end up with hundreds of photos from the trip, but when we get home life just seems to happen and I never make time to work on them. So, these past couple of days I made myself sit down and work on some of these photos… maybe I made myself do this because my honeymoon photos are well over a year old or maybe it’s because summer is coming to an end and I want to look back at photos of the crystal clear water and white sandy beaches to try and hold on to it as long as I can… or MAYBE its so I can get myself pumped up because in 14 days Mike and I will be on a plane headed to Aruba once again! I have so much to get done in the next 14 days and I have to keep reminding myself that not EVERYTHING has to be done before hand… It will all still be here when I get back… but that’s how I work. I’ll stress myself out for the next two weeks so I can go and have a relaxing, much needed vacation. Anyway, I thought that while I was working on some of these photos I would put some together in a blog post so I could share them with all of you. If any of you ever have the chance to visit St. Kitts, I would recommend catching the first plane available and spending as much time as you can there. The island is absolutely beautiful! Aruba is nice but St. Kitts blew it out of the water. I’m done rambling… enjoy the photos and I hope it brings a little joy to the last weeks of your summer.

Mike took a photo of me taking the photo I’m showing to the right. It’s pretty much a straight drop off into the water, even though my photo doens’t make it look quite as bad. One of the only buildings around this deserted area of Aruba is the prison. If you escape this cliff is your only option!
