Seven and a half years ago in a 9th grade Biology class, is where it all started. Matt sat behind Kendra on the first day of class and in Kendra’s words “luckily I was smart because he kept sitting behind me for answers.” Personally, I think he kept sitting there hoping to get to know the beautiful Brunette in from of him ;) Fast forward to this year at Matt’s family’s lake house in the Poconos. Kendra thought her family was coming to celebrate Matt’s brother’s birthday but little did she know that she would have some celebrating of her own. Matt and Kendra were out on his boat. As they made their way back to the dock, Kendra could see everyone waiting for them. Just then Matt told her he thought he hit something, so as Kendra ran to the front of the boat to check it out, Matt got down on one knee. She was so surprised when she turned around that she started crying and said yes before Matt even had a chance to say anything ;)

These two are just the sweetest and we loved being able to spend more time with them during their engagement session. The Fall colors were showing off a bit for their photos, which made me so happy. These two have adventurous spirits and were up for pretty much anything and even though the wind was whipping around like crazy, they never complained! We are so excited to see these two again next year at their Farm at Eagles Ridge wedding. It’s going to be great!
