Noelle and Mark’s wedding day is in the top two rainiest wedding days we’ve ever shot. Rainy wedding days are never ideal, but if you have the right outlook on the day, like Noelle and Mark did, than nothing at all is ruined. Noelle told me that morning that the goal at the end of the day was to marry Mark and no matter how much rain came they would still be married at the end of the day and in her eyes that was a win. I love this outlook and it is so true! Sometimes we can get so caught up in the wedding day itself, we forget what the true purpose of the day really is. Mark and Noelle went with the flow and I think we have amazing photos because of their relaxed and easygoing personalities, even despite the rain.

They did a first look which saved us BIG time! We did their first look and we had about 20 mins before the rain came. We shot as fast as we could and as much as we could until we had to find cover. I was using the app Dark Sky, which was amazing and told us down to the minute of when the rain would arrive. We pushed it until the last second and I’m so thankful Mark and Noelle trusted us enough to stay out from cover even though the sky was BLACK and the wind was whipping around us.

Thankfully the rain broke for just enough time for them to have their ceremony outside, which is something they really wanted. I think Mark and Noelle had a perfect wedding day. It was a wonderful day and there was so much love and excitement filling every corner of Rodale Farm. Mark and Noelle, thank you for trusting us and for being amazing! We love you guys!
