You will be seeing these two again VERY soon! We get to shoot their wedding in Annapolis, MD in just two short weeks! I’ve been so excited to finally meet Abby and Matt. It feels like forever ago that they booked with us! Abby has sent me some photos of what the wedding is going to look like and wow… I can’t wait to share the photos with you all! It’s going to be beautiful!
Mike and I met Darlene and Austin for the first time at their engagement session. Usually we meet our couples before this but these two live in Pittsburgh, so it was a little tougher to get together. It was great to finally hang out with them and chat about all things life and weddings. They will be having their wedding in York this October and Mike and I can’t wait to be there.
The very first time I spoke with Jess on the phone she asked if I thought it was possible for them to get their engagement session done in the snow. I knew it would be possible but I thought it would take a little more timing and scheduling then what it did. Manny will be leaving soon for schooling with the Army so we didn’t have much time to get the engagements in before their wedding. Jess emailed me on a Thursday asking what our Saturday and Sunday looked like and thankfully it was free! Also… they were calling for snow both Saturday AND Sunday! As Mike and I drove to meet Jess and Manny fresh snow was falling… how perfect!!
Mike and I met up with Nicole and Kurt at a park in Philadelphia. As you drive up to this place you would never guess that there is a beautiful park that opens up just beyond a fence. You didn’t feel like you were just outside the city and you couldn’t hear any traffic! This location allowed us to grab a shot with the city in the background which was fun :) After the park we headed into the city right near where Kurt and Nicole live and ended our evening at a small pizza place on South Street for dinner.
