Two years ago he sat down beside her in a Microbiology class at Eastern University… little did they know that not only would they be lab partners but eventually husband and wife. Over the last two years he fell in love with her willingness to try new things and she fell in love with his smile.
During a regular weekend visit in October, Ben planned a day long scavenger hunt for Luda that would lead them to special places that they’ve shared over the past two years. The first stop was biking to the Art Museum in Philadelphia. When they arrived breakfast was waiting for them with Luda’s next clue. The second clue took them to Eastern University, where they first met. The third clue took them back to the microbiology classroom where Ben first saw Luda. Their first date was by a pond at the University and that’s where the next clue led them. There, Luda found a pumpkin and all the supplies to carve it. As she started to clean it out, she was shocked to find the next clue hiding inside. This led them to a sushi restaurant where they first experienced sushi together. Here, Ben gave Luda the last and final clue. This led them to Ben’s family’s cottage on the Sassafras River in Maryland. When they arrived Ben blind folded Luda and led her to the back porch. Christmas lights, candles, flowers and dinner were all waiting for Luda as she took off the blind fold… as well as Ben on one knee.
Mike and I are so excited to be a part of this sweet couples wedding. Luda actually contacted us before Ben even proposed. I love brides that plan ahead! Ben contacted me to set up their engagement session just several days before the proposal and the next weekend we were meeting them for their engagement session. I loved how new and excited they were about their engagement! It was so sweet. Can’t wait to see these two again and I can’t wait to share a few of my favorites with all of you!
What gorgeous fall color, and all the best spots on campus! :) Gorgeous images Brittney!
