Alicia, Ali’s sister, contacted me several months ago about photographing Ali and Mike’s winter wedding. We use to attend church with Alicia and her family and Alicia is also a photographer, so I was honored when she asked us to take the photos for her baby sister’s wedding. We don’t often have weddings in December so I was pretty excited. There is so much you can with a winter themed wedding!

I was a little nervous for what the weather was going to be like… it could be freezing, snowing, freezing rain… all of the above. God was definitely on our side as we lucked out with a sunny 50 degree day on December 28th! How is that possible?! The weather has been so crazy here lately! I had extra time allotted for warm up brakes but we really didn’t need to use them which just meant more time for photos!

Ali and Mike had a beautiful wedding. It was one of the smallest we have photographed, which was really refreshing. Only about 50 or so of their closest friends and family were in attendance. It was an amazing day filled with joyful tears, smiles and lots and lots of love! So glad Mike and I were able to be a part of this celebration. Enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
