I was SO excited when Chelsea emailed me saying that her and Ryan wanted to do their engagement photos at Elizabeth Farms. Elizabeth Farms is an awesome Christmas tree farm not far from where we live. I have a lot of memories riding on the horse drawn wagons out into the fields of Christmas trees to pick the perfect one. My dad would have us take ribbon along to mark the ones we liked along the way so we wouldn’t forget. I cut down my first Christmas tree (with some help from my dad) at Elizabeth Farms and I was so excited to get back there.

As we arrived at the farm we were greeted by the manager who told us he would take us over to the Stiegel-Coleman Mansion. I about died… Mike and I had just been reading in the paper about this amazing property and I could not wait to see it. It has been in the Coleman family since 1776 and is a National Historic Landmark. It is a photographers dream! I could have stayed there forever. The property is gorgeous and has so much history.

I loved spending time with Ryan and Chelsea. Like many of our couples they are doing the long distance thing with Ryan in State College and Chelsea living around here. I don’t know how they do it but it makes me so excited for them and their wedding, when they finally get to be together! The two of them together are so sweet and you can tell they have a lot of fun together. This was a really exciting day for these two because not only were they getting their engagement photos done but they found out earlier that day that their offer was accepted on a house! What an exciting time!! I am SO glad Mike and I get to be involved during this fun and exciting time in their lives. Can’t wait to see you two again! Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together :)

 Love it!
