Mike and I have been looking forward to Zach and Amy’s wedding for quite some time now. We shot Amy’s sister, Holly’s, wedding last June and we couldn’t wait to see everyone again! Amy and Zach chose to do a first look after a lot of consideration and I’m pretty sure they are SO glad they did. The timeline for the day ran so smoothly that we ended up with an extra 30 minutes before we needed to leave for the ceremony. As Mike and I left to get a head start on reception details the whole group was sitting down to relax and watch a little of the world cup… this never would have happened without a first look. We spent the whole first half of the day at Amy’s mom’s house then moved to Riverview Country Club for the ceremony and reception. Riverview is a beautiful public golf course… probably one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen.
Everything about this wedding was beautiful, from the dresses to the flowers to all the love that surrounded the day. I am so glad we were able to see this wonderful family again on one of the happiest days of their lives. We seriously have such an awesome job!
Amy and Zach, we can’t thank you enough for inviting us to be a part of your amazing day! Hope you had an amazing time in Hawaii!

After dinner we snuck out for a couple more bride and groom shots when the lighting was just perfect! Love when our couples are up for this!
Oh goodness, the story behind these photos crack me up! You see to get her veil to “fly” in the air, Mike has to toss it. Since I wanted to do a wide shot Mike didn’t have enough time to get out of the shot… I then had the bright idea to have him toss the veil and drop to the ground. The image below is Amy cracking up after hearing Mike belly flop into the tall grass. So thankful for a husband and partner that will do just about anything for the shot!
