Engagements for our 2017 couples are in full swing. We love spending this time with our couples. We are officially completely booked for next year and by the end of October we will have shot engagements for all of our couples next year except for one… it’s going to be a crazy month! You may also realize in over the next month that the most common names for bride’s and groom’s next year are Jon and Rachel. No I am not forgetting to change the names at the top of the blog posts haha. We literally have so many Jon’s and Rachel’s and two couples who are Jon and Rachel… thankfully the Rachael in this post spells her name differently from our other Jon and Rachel, so that I don’t get completely confused with who I’m emailing!

We loved spending more time with with these two. Rachael was a bridesmaid in a wedding we photographed last year and we are so excited to be working with their group of friends again :) It will be like a big family reunion. We love when that happens! Jon and Rachael are so cute together and we had such a great time with them. The evening we shot their session was pretty overcast which I think allowed us to use a lot of locations at Fort Hunter that we may not have been able to use, like the photos down by the water. Those are some of my favorite photos from the session and I’m so glad Jon and Rachael trusted me enough to walk down a very narrow “path” to get to the water.
