Mike and I met up with Wayne and Lisa at Historic Jerusalem Mills in Maryland. It was a perfect evening for engagements. The sun was golden and the leaves were at their brightest colors. I have been really loving these Fall engagement sessions. The lighting this time of year is beautiful and I wish it would look like this all year long!

I was SO excited when Chelsea emailed me saying that her and Ryan wanted to do their engagement photos at Elizabeth Farms. Elizabeth Farms is an awesome Christmas tree farm not far from where we live. I have a lot of memories riding on the horse drawn wagons out into the fields of Christmas trees to pick the perfect one. My dad would have us take ribbon along to mark the ones we liked along the way so we wouldn’t forget. I cut down my first Christmas tree (with some help from my dad) at Elizabeth Farms and I was so excited to get back there.

We met them at a park in West Chester, then headed downtown, and eventually ended up at a restaurant that Matt’s aunt and uncle own. We loved spending time with Matt and Steph! Their smiles and joy is so evident in their images. When I first met Steph, we talked for 2 hours at a little coffee shop and I knew instantly that 1. Steph was awesome and 2. that Matt had to be just as awesome. I was SO right! Matt had us all laughing the whole night which made my job so easy. I can’t wait to see these two again!

You can tell it’s the season for engagements! I told you this would be a busy week for the blog! Let me introduce you to Dan and Lindsey :) Dan and Lindsey are the sweetest. I loved our time hanging out with them. These two are doing the long distance thing, which I give them huge props for. Dan is in Virginia, busy being a civil engineer and Lindsey is in Philadelphia at the moment for one of her rotations to become an optometrist. Talk about busy! I couldn’t imagine living in a different state from Mike. It makes me even more excited for their wedding day, knowing they can finally be together!
