Oh goodness friends… we have been working hard behind the scenes these last couple months to refine the look of Brittney Kreider Photography. Honestly we started this branding process all the way back in February 2014. I never realized how hard branding yourself would be… turely figuring out who you are and what you want your business to look like. Last summer we launched a new website, logo and blog and I felt happy with it, but truly deep down, I knew it wasn’t quite us. I was lost and didn’t really know where to turn because I honestly didn’t know what direction or look I wanted… so I gave up… I gave up on the whole branding process and just ignored the fact that my website didn’t quite match my blog and our whole look just wasn’t quite what I wanted it to be.

That brings me to this February when we had our mentoring session with Justin & Mary. Mary lit a new fire in me to really figure out who we were and what I wanted that to look like. I came home and found a template from Tonic Site Shop to start the process and by the end I had pretty much deleted everything about the template, but that’s ok because the template is what sparked all of my initial design ideas. While working on the new website, I worked closely with a good friend of mine, Chrissy, on a new logo. Once I had everything together I purchased a “Just a Splash” with Jen Olmstead from Tonic, and this is where the magic happened. Jen is amazing and gave such great input for the website. She helped choose the new fonts and did all the fun typography pieces on the site, that in my opinion┬átruly make it. I seriously can’t thank her enough! I honestly was embarrassed that we just launched a new brand last year and here we were rebranding again… I wasn’t planning on announcing this new look. I was just going to quietly switch it over and let it be. But, with seeing what the new site looks like, I’m too excited to keep my mouth shut! ┬áSo enough about the process, go check out the new website and let me know what you think!
