Mike and I are lucky because we always have the greatest couples, and Allan and Krista are no exception. These two are honestly the sweetest couple ever. This past Saturday Mike and I met up with these two love birds at their wedding venue, The Farm at Eagles Ridge. The venue is brand new and is still under construction but it was fun to walk around and see where everything was going to be for their wedding and all the progress that has taken place. We snapped a few shots at the venue before heading to Lancaster County Park to finish up their session.
This past Sunday Mike and I met up with Bobby and Kali for their engagement shoot at Lancaster County Park. It had just rained/snowed the day before so we were all hoping the weather was going to hold out for us. Sunday was a pretty overcast/cold day but no rain in sight, which was great. These two were troopers. We had them tromping through all sorts of tall weeds and grass and there I was with my winter coat, scarf and gloves on telling them to take their coats off and walk all the way up that hill… sorry guys!
Yesterday we celebrated Mike’s birthday and today we celebrate the wonderful man I call my Dad. I was a daddy’s girl growing up and I guess you could still say I’m that way. I was the boy my dad never had… we would go rock climbing and hiking, play ping pong and wrestle until one of us got hurt. He taught me how to play softball and pool and how to drive stick (bless his heart). I have a lot of fond memories with my dad that I will cherish forever.
Dear Mike,
This is the 5th March 14th that we have celebrated in the 6 years we have been together. Things have certainly changed quite a bit in these last 6 years as a couple. Man, where does the time go?! I’m sitting here trying to think back to your birthday 5 years ago and I can’t seem to remember anything about it. You have become so much a part of my life that I don’t remember life before you.
